A drunken Letterboxd review that spawned the super low-fi, speed-fire; body horror comic ‘Broiled Septum.’
The creation process was designed to be visceral and immediate: each page a 30 - 45 minute deadline; skipping pencils or thumbnails, instead marking the page directly with ink and opting to develop a visual style from panel to panel.
The line work uses a variety of pens to give a raw, textural feel; the plot, mega-loose, a piss take of a Letterboxd film review that morphed into the debut comic from Mila K.
